Going from Fat 2 Fab has not gone as well as I hoped since I began this 2 years ago so here we go starting over AGAIN. I keep hoping for an epiphany that really sticks but people can I be honest here for a minute? Of course, I can. If I wasn't you'd be annoyed by me. In all honesty, you hit a point where you're like well I worked hard for a while and didn't have much to show for it and I really want that fucking large pizza with pepperoni and jalepeno's. If I'm not going to be skinny when trying to be healthy I might as well be fat and enjoy myself. And I have hit that point, despite still weighing 10 lbs less than I did at this point last year (175 1/1/10 v 165 1/1/11). Maybe it is turning 27 in a week but I'm just frustrated I haven't found something that works for me that I, with my lack of discipline, can stick with. Anyway, pity party over. Here we go again:
New Year's Resolutions:
- Run 4 days a week at the minimum
- Eat at least one serving of veggies and one serving of fruits a day (this will be the hardest)
- Get 8 hours of sleep a night
- Lift weights at least 2 days a week
- Blog more!
So, you're turn. Tell me what your New Year's Resolutions are!
Also, since no one really participated in my last giveaway and the hat thing hasn't occurred yet because I blew the money on sporting events (which I will share with you in future post), I have a new giveaway! New Years resolution revolves around loosing weight to increase my running capabilities. I should have been at my goal weight ohhh about 2 years ago.
already a follower!
My favorite running song is,"you get what you give" by the New Radicals OR Gonna Fly Now the theme from ROcky.
posted on my blog!
And I now like you on FB!
Hmmm...ok, as weird as this sounds, one of my favorite running tunes is Da Brat's Give It 2 You...its good for running double time...i also like the Ronnie Maze version of Sirius and Gonna Fly Now from Rocky...
...as for New Year's Resolutions, my biggest one is to run more consistently from month to month and run smarter to avoid overuse injuries.
If you can hit the pavement/treadmill 4 days a week and really break a massive sweat, you're gonna reach your weight goal in less than 6 months.

My New Years Resolution is to help a stranger at least once a day.
My favorite running song is 'Let's Get It Started' by Black Eyed Peas.
I 'liked' your facebook page :)
I am going to share your giveaway on my twitter page: @jessywuv
I'm already a follower and enjoy following your posts :)
My New Year's Resolutions are to stay committed to family, marriage, and running (in no particular order - lol)
Posted your giveaway on my blog: http://13minutemile.blogspot.com/
Favorite running song is "Let It Rock" by Kevin Rudolf
just started following you here,
already follow you on facebook,
new years resolutions i don't have... but i make goals... you say tomaaaato i say tomayto. first goal is to weigh less by the end of the year than i do now, preferably by 50 lbs.
i don't run, but i do walk & exercise so my favorite workout songs is really anything i can sing to and that has a great beat (alive with the glory of love by say anything; all the small things by blink-182; american idiot by green day; dynamite by taio cruz; krptonite by 3 doors down; the middle by jimmy eat world; pain by three days grace; party like a rock star by shop boyz... to name a few).
And so I am STILL a follower because you are cool and you say bad words. YAY!
I became a follower ... a long time ago.
I think a resolution is going to be ... and it will be hard and probably only last until 8am tomorrow when I go to work .... be less bitchy to my completely retarded co-workers that I can't stand! Oh Lord help me, I hope I can do it for even an hour!
One of my favorites is Flo Rida - Right Round. It reminds me of the Hangover and Las Vegas. Vegas inspires me to keep running so that maybe some day I can be hot like the girls dancing on the stage at the Party Pit in the Excalibur.
But I totally already did follow you on the facepage! :)
And I follow you on facebook.
I shared this on facebook - but then threatened my friends if they swoop in here and win. I never win ... this one is totally MINE!
I'm already a follower!
I linked your giveaway on my blog.
Honestly I'm still working through my 2011 goals - but a couple are: to eat healthier; run my first half marathon; and finally get to the gym for some weight training so maybe I can stay injury-free this year!
Current favorite running song - "Glamorous" by Fergie. I try to change up my music a lot cause I get bored so damn easily!
Since I already like you on Fb and follow you, I'll share my New Year's Resolution and fav running song.
1. I resolve to develop willpower. I figure without this, having any other resolutions is kind of pointless.
2. "99 Problems" Jay Z or "Since U Been Gone" Kelly Clarkson (One is good for the middle of runs and the other is good for finishing off a run.)
*Also, I will attempt to figure out how to share your blog on Fb.
stupid unrelated question, but have you read "Naturally Thin" by Bethenny Frankel? It doesn't strike me as your cup of tea but i promise it'll really change your outlook on eating/dieting/losing weight.
